LAURA, THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING TIME FOR US. ABSOLUTELY. SO THERES BEEN 18 DECORATORS THAT HAVE COME THROUGH AND TRANSFORMED EVERY INCH OF YOUR HOUSE. WHAT HAS THAT BEEN LIKE? IT HAS BEEN A LITTLE OVERWHELMING. IM NOT GOING TO LIE, BUT THEY HAVE TRANSFORMED THIS HOME INTO EVEN MORE OF THE HOME THAT IT HAS BEEN FOR OUR FAMILY. AND WERE JUST SO HONORED TO BE ABLE TO BE A PART OF THIS AND TO DONATE OUR HOME TO BENEFIT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE THIS YEAR. YEAH, OBVIOUSLY, THE HOUSE LOOKS GORGEOUS AND THATS PROBABLY A BIG PLUS TO DOING THIS. BUT WHAT REALLY MADE YOU WANT TO DONATE YOUR TIME AND YOUR HOUSE FOR THIS? OUR HOUSE HAS NEVER JUST BEEN ABOUT OUR FAMILY OF FOUR. ITS ALWAYS BEEN A PLACE TO GATHER. ITS BEEN A PLACE WHERE WEVE BEEN ABLE TO HOST OTHER FAMILIES WITH THEIR OUT OF THEIR HOUSE. WE HAD TO MOVE OUT OF OUR HOUSE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF AS WE EXPANDED OUT A HOUSE FIRE THAT DIDNT DESTROY THE HOUSE, BUT IT DID DISPLACE US FOR A LONG TIME WHILE THEY WERE PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER. SO WE KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE OUTSIDE OF THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME AND TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS HOME NOW TO BENEFIT OUT THE FAMILIES OF PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE CARE AT THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE WHO DIDNT CHOOSE TO BE THERE IS SORT OF JUST FULL CIRCLE FOR US AS OUR FAMILY AND OUR HOME. WERE VERY INVOLVED WITH THE COMMUNITY. I AM MRS. LAKE COUNTRY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AND ILL BE COMPETING FOR THE MISS WISCONSIN TITLE IN JUST TWO WEEKS. WOW. AND THIS IS A WAY FOR ME TO CONTINUE. MY PASSION, TO EMPOWER, INSPIRE AND UPLIFT, WHICH IS WHAT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA SYSTEM STANDS FOR. I CANT IMAGINE A MORE UPLIFTING WAY THAN FOR OUR FAMILY TO DONATE OUR HOME FOR THOSE FAMILIES. TOTALLY A WAY TO GIVE BACK AND ALSO GETS YOU IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT. WERE STILL SEVERAL WEEKS OUT, BUT IT DEFINITELY GETS YOU EXCITED. THERES 24 ROOMS THAT HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED. I KNOW YOU KIND OF EVERY TIME YOU COME, IT LOOKS DIFFERENT. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE YET? WELL, WERE SITTING IN MY OFFICE AND ITS THE FIRST TIME IM ACTUALLY SEEING IT ALL DECORATED. WE HAD TO MOVE OUT ON SATURDAY AND IT WAS KIND OF A BLANK SLATE AT THAT POINT. BUT IT IS VERY SPECIAL THIS ROOM SO FAR. IT FEELS LIKE ME AND IT FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS ALREADY. YEAH, THATS AWESOME. LAURA, THANKS SO MUCH FOR TALKING TO US. This Place Know As ” Pantai Bukit Keluang ” . It was 19.1 Kilometers From Jerteh about 20 munites. Long sandy beaches, there are a few spots good for photograp. Please keep the nature clean and bring out what you bring in with you. Leave nothing but footprint.Famous by local and domestic. Breathtaking ambiance and great place for photos. Beautiful water surprisingly, even this long beach area next to small river. Bukit Keluang named after the largest bats in this stone hill which was and still can be found over here. Besides, many stone caves here as their habitats and now beautiful place to be enjoy. You may find the stone formation here very different from another parts in Malaysia.Few caves are now attractions and very nice for picnics. This amazing destination not very famous among tourist but still a very beautiful place to enjoy for both water activities and scenery. Locals do have their specialities to offer where you may find most traditional Terengganu’s foods are here. Fresh seafood with choices of local and Southern Thai appetite can be easily found as their menu almost in every small restaurant along the beach. Most spectacular view of Rhu island and Perhentian Island to be notice on a very hot sunny day where turquoise blue water will absolutely give your eyes a shock.
