We went all out in Belize! We explored San Pedro/ Ambergris Caye, and Caye Caulker! We did an amazing boat tour with Inland and Sea Adventures. We explored secret beach. We spent the day on Caye Caulker island and of course we explored the local food scene in Belize. Exploring COOBER PEDY // Vanlife Australia // Travel VlogJoin us as we explore the Coober Pedy – the town in the middle of Australia where people live underground!We started our journey by leaving Adelaide and heading north via Port Augusta and Lochiel, where yet another pink lake greeted us…….this time with an eel / serpent / snake (Lochiel = Loch eel…..?)After that we drove through the vast beauty of nothingness that is outback Australia, and arrived in Coober Pedy after an overnight stop in Glendambo (Where there are more flies than humans!)Then finally we made it to Coober Pedy and we were blown away with the weirdness, quirky-ness and just plain magic of this remote town. Known for its Opal mining, Coober Pedy has a wonderful history, and we were able to learn first hand some of the hardships that this towns pioneers went through. Firstly the wonderful tour at Faye’s Underground Home and Mine blew us away with her stories (and swimming pool!) and the Old Timer’s mine also painted a fantastic picture of life underground here.The Big Winch and Crocodile Harry’s were other major spots to visit, but for sheer breathtaking beauty it was hard to pass up the Breakaways / Angkata.Next we keep driving north into our next state of the Northern Territory!Follow our journey between video uploads on Instagram: http://instagram.com/life_is_vanderful Thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe!
