Holiday train stops in SE Wisconsin, donates to local food banks [Video]

Crowds around the train tracks in Wauwatosa waited on the Canadian Pacific holiday train. And upon arrival, the excitement was palpable for the free concert from a brightly decorated stage.”The lights and the music was really fun and the kids loved it,” said Janice Summers, who saw the train for the first time. Whether the kids were in strollers or had a view from up high on someone’s shoulders, the holiday train rocked.”It definitely was a spectacular show,” added Summers. It was also for a good cause. The holiday train donates to local food banks at every stop and encourages others to donate as well. In Tosa, Canadian Pacific donated $7,000 to Tosa Cares. “There are so many people who need that help right now, especially during the holidays so it’s an amazing gift,” said Lee Heinrich, marketing coordinator for the Village of Wauwatosa. “It was amazing,” said Ryan Summers, also there for the first time. “The crowds were really big, it was really cool to see everybody having a good time.”Newschopper 12 captured the holiday train leaving Wauwatosa.
