NoisyTJR – Never Lose Your Smile (ft. Shaury Torres) [Video]

I’m excited and extremely proud of this new music video for my song “Never Lose Your Smile” which is inspired by and dedicated to our good friends the Barnes family – Scott, Grace, Elizabeth “Ellie”, and Kaylyn. The strength of Barnes’ family has inspired me as they have had some truly sad, tragic, and scary events among their family members within recent years. In 2019, Ellie was diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome – links below). Just attending school in person or doing anything outside of bed became a true struggle. Early 2021, Grace was diagnosed with breast cancer, fortunately undergoing treatment immediately. While being treated, Scott’s loving father Woody Barnes, passed away. Grace’s cancer treatment was a success and is no longer present. Ellie has come a long way and was able to see her classmates in-person for her final school day this year. I was inspired to make this song to highlight their family strength, resolve, and character. The sax solo and lyrics are from my heart. Shaury Torres, the singer in this video, is a fellow freshman from high school band and choir. She plays trumpet, is an amazing singer in school choir, and a close friend of mine! I hope this song is encouraging to every family and every individual.
