For lunch we head to the nearby Bar do Fundo at Praia Grande, a casual eatery with a relaxed vibe and quality dishes. Further along in Praia Grande is the picturesque clifftop town of Azenhas do Mar, where we visit the natural swimming pool and the poolside bar—the perfect sunset spot. Our tour then heads into picturesque Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, where we head to Amor Records, a renowned Brazilian-founded record shop in the Santa Cruz neighborhood. We sample canned sardines at Conserveira de Lisboa, take the tram at Elevador da Bica and take in the beautiful landscape from viewpoints at Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Jardim do Torel.

In the medieval Ribeira (riverside) district, narrow cobbled streets wind past merchants’ houses and cafes. São Francisco Church is known for its lavish baroque interior with ornate gilded carvings. The palatial 19th-century Palácio de Bolsa, formerly a stock market, was built to impress potential European investors ― Google_______________Porto / Portugal is a coastal city in the North of the country. Porto is known for port wine and has some iconic bridges over the Douro river.We start our walking tour at the Liberty Square (Praça da Liberdade) with the Town Hall (Câmara Municipal do Porto ). On this square are a few monuments and the Christmas decorations.We walk uphill to the Igreja da Santíssima Trindade and check out the Trindade shopping center nearby. Via the Rua da Conceição we get to the garden “Jardim da Cordoaria” and find the viewpoint “Miradouro da Vitoria”.After we’ve seen the Luís I Bridge (Ponte Luís I) we head uphill again to see the Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto).
