However, special education programs in U.S. schools continue to be underfunded (National Council on Disability).According to the Nation Center for Education Statistics (NCES), the total number of Elementary and Secondary schools for 2017-2018 school year was 130,930. With so many schools closing due to lockdowns, fundraising efforts were suspended and did not resume for some time. As a result, present-day fundraising efforts have changed and face new challenges. Through event sponsorship and promotion, we have developed a business model that will utilize technologies to generate funds through an ongoing profit center, which will result from event production services and merchandising.
