Europe Travel Restrictions Covid 19 Test Requirements By Country For [Video]

Whilst many European countries have scrapped travel restrictions relating to Covid-19—including Italy for June—there are some countries where it is still mandatory to test and come equipped with Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificates. Here’s an overview on what’s going on for June 2022. There are currently 30 destinations in Europe that don’t have any Covid-19 restrictions in place: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the U. K. This means that regardless of vaccination history there is no need to show any documentation relating to a traveler’s health status. Europe Travel 25 Countries Open But Bigger Destinations Still Restricted [Video]

Of the 27 countries in the European Union (plus those included in the Schengen/EEA area) and the U. K., many are increasingly removing Covid-related travel restrictions across Europe before summer and hopefully for the final time. So, if you’re planning a trip, here’s the situation across the region, with over 25 countries having removed all travel restrictions, as reported by The Telegraph. However, it’s worth remembering that some of the big holiday destinations—France, Germany, Italy and Spain—still require some paperwork and proof of vaccination/testing. These countries have completely scrapped travel restrictions:There are, however, still many European countries which require some paperwork related to Covid-19:If anyone is looking for a flight between the U. S. and Europe this summer, two budget European airlines have recently launched new routes across the Atlantic. All data is taken from the source: http://forbes.comArticle Link: https://www.forbes.com/sites/alexledsom/2022/05/09/europe-travel-25-countries-open-but-bigger-destinations-still-restricted/#countries #newsreporter #newstodayusa #usanewstoday #bbcnewsworld #bbcnewstoday #

Europe Travel Greece Becomes Latest EU Country To Scrap Travel [Video]

As travel between the U. S. and Europe is estimated to rise an unsurprising 600% on last summer’s figures, Greece becomes the latest European country to drop its travel restrictions–15 EU countries have so far done so, according to The Independent. From 1 May onwards, it will no longer be necessary to show proof of having been vaccinated, recovered from Covid-19 nor having had a pre-travel test result to enter Greece. This will be the case for travelers arriving from all countries. Additionally, the mask mandate for public spaces will be dropped from 1 June to September, before taking a view if it needs to be reinstated in the autumn months. Greece’s health minister, Thanos Plevris, said that the situation had stabilised so much that conditions could be relaxed in time for the summer tourist season. Until 1 May, it is still necessary to have either proof of having had two vaccinations or proof of recovery from Covid or the result of a negative PCR test (within 72 hours) or antigen test (within 24 hours) to be allowed to enter. It is no longer necessary, since mid-March, to fill out a Passenger Locator Form before entering the country. Greece now becomes one of many EU countries where people can travel with less paperwork and hassle than has previously been the case in the two years prior during the Covid-19 pandemic. Some of these destinations also happen to have recently been listed as the world’s happiest countries, making any journey a travel win-win. It is worth noting, however, that Covid-19 rates have been rising in Greece. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) reported on 21 April that the 14-day notification rate per 100,000 inhabitants weighted by vaccines uptake is still very high and Greece remains colored dark-red on the ECDC map of Europe. All data is taken from the source: http://forbes.comArticle Link: https://www.forbes.com/sites/alexledsom/2022/04/22/europe-travel-greece-becomes-latest-eu-country-to-scrap-travel-restrictions/#greece #newsfeed #newstodayfox #newstodaylocal #usanewstoday #newstodayabc #
